Proposal details
Application has been made by Béton Provincial Ltée to amend the current site plans to lower the depth of extraction at each site to 18 meters above sea level. Both licences are already approved to extract below the water table. As part of the application package Béton Provincial Ltée submitted a Hydrological Report and updated site plans reflecting the proposed amendment.
Public consultation opportunities
The proposed request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, South Nation River Conservation Authority, Township of Alfred and Plantagenet, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, and Landowners within 120 meters for comment.
