Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 9550-CFFJDU for the establishment of two subsurface sewage disposal works for the River Styx Cottagers’ Association to service residences located at 2496 Isle of Man Road, in the City of Kingston, Ontario.
Seven other existing residential septic systems at the property, five of which previously approved by the local health unit, are also proposed to be included on the ECA at this time, along with a proposed vacant lot with no hydro or known septic system.
The two new proposed works include septic tanks rated at 750 liters per day and 1100 liters per day respectively, as well as all other ancillary appurtenances related to the additional systems. The Ministry may require effluent monitoring and may impose effluent limits.
