This entire proposal and Bill are a gross overreach by the Ontario government to impose their will upon municipal governments and rob the Ontario people of their right to safeguard their communities. I can understand the desire to fast track some projects for the sake of the public good, but allowing ministers to designate special zones that are exempt from local oversight and input is setting up ministers to abuse that power at the cost of the Ontario citizens you claim to support.
