These SEZ's give Cabinet power to override environmental protections, exempt hand picked companies from laws passed by the duly elected government of Ontario without review or consent as they are only required to consider health & environmental risks & it silences Indigenous voices, those most likely to be affected by SEZ's, in the name of economic growth! These SEZ's offer no transparency no accountability & no environmental protections! This is not democracy! Shame!
