There should be NO special treatment for economic development that excludes proper and thorough environmental impact assessment. Areas previously designated as “ protected” , such as wetlands, parks, woodlands, should remain protected from development. These natural heritage areas have economic value, the government just refuses to recognize it.
This proposal should be rejected.
