I think that these regulations are a very bad idea, as they are in blatant disregard of anything that is not driven by monetary gain. Green spaces, once gone, can never be recreated, and wildlife, once habitat is polluted or destroyed, will never return. Please stop acting as if the climate crisis is not all of our responsibility; you hold the power to take giant steps to help mitigate further catastrophe by protecting the spaces that are most beneficial to the planet and to our own mental health and well-being.
