Hi good day, Treadcraft has been in the tire hauler market for the past 20 years servicing mostly Kal Tire locations. We have money invested in equipment and people. Over the past year we have been forced to store tires at our own cost to keep our customers serviced. This cost has been unsustainable, as delivery appointments just aren't being granted. Etracks controls 70% of the market and all other PRO's are sharing the remainder, not really a free market.

It would seem all PRO's are maxed out on the allocation they can handle. We are on the verge of going out of business. We can't simply pick up, store tires without delivery appointments any longer.

We recently delivered loads last month that have been sitting since May 2025, tires we picked up under etracks. We have reached out to every PRO in the province with very little success. Recycling plants like Evovle have called us many times looking for tires, as they need the deliveries to keep their operation running. We have the tires, but are unable to deliver them.

It would seem the root cause is the unrealistic targets at 65% are causing major problems for EVERYONE involved in tire recycling.

With our population growing at a rapid rate, how can the targets be going down? Our largest customer, Kal Tire is also storing tires as we just can't keep covering up the problem. We need realistic targets, and change needs to happen immediately!

Please take this comment seriously, as we have major issues around the province with every aspect of tire recycling in Ontario.
