These proposals sound like they might help the situation with end of life tires piling up. I wonder do we need more processors? It is sad to think that we all pay a tire environmental fee / levy to deal with this end of life processing and we are now seeing terrible backlogs with end of life tires.
We own a small auto repair facility within an hour of the 401 and the GTA in south western Ontario and are drowning in end of life tires as are all the auto shops in this community. PLEASE PLEASE do something to get this system running smoothly again! We've called different haulers and even asked e-tracks for help getting the tires picked up and they all say we're trying our best to find someone to come to your area but they're not sure when someone will come. We haven't had pick up since last fall! This is a terrible situation. Please help keep Ontario clean and safe!
