On behalf of DG Group, we support the proposed legislative amendments for municipalities to provide consent to establish a non-municipal communal drinking water or wastewater system. We would also support the addition of cisterns as a safe drinking water system if it meets the province’s regulations and the applicable homeowner is responsible for testing and maintaining their system (similar to wells).
