The proposed changes appear to create new loopholes endangering species at risk and their habitats. The Ford government is prioritizing development (more housing built outside of urban areas, more roads, more resource extraction) while Ontario wildlife is suffering, needing more protection, not less.
I oppose these changes as they will make Ontario wildlife more vulnerable to extirpation and to becoming species-at-risk.
