I am opposed the proposed changes to protections under the Endangered Species Act. These changes will weaken the protection of species that are supposed to be protected under the Endangered Species Act. All of these amendments are obviously being proposed to make it easier for proponents to proceed with projects, with ever diminishing regard for at-risk species.

Th Endangered Species Act is intended to protect species at risk, and to help their populations recover. These proposed amendments have no regard for that original intent.

I urge you to withdraw these proposed amendments, and come back with new stronger protections that will respect the needs of species at risk. Taking measures to expedite construction activity when at-risk species are present is a recipe for disaster.
