These changes are woefully inadequate.
The proposed changes do nothing to enhance the protection of the red dace, caribou, polar bear etc. The red dace is in desperate need of protection and this proposals do not enhance but weaken the protection, reducing potential protected habitat and recovery habitat. The proposals should strengthen protection not weaken
The proposals about trails for mining exploration and protection are weak in effectual. We have failed large mammals. Where do the proposals increase protection of the dwindling caribou. Trails should be banned from Caribou habitat. Instead these proposals for provide language to work around protection. Words like avoid are so weak that they are ineffectual.
These proposals will will not enhance protection of Endagered Species. This Regulatory changes should be labelled; to improve implementation of our program for putting species at extinction.
