I agree with the proposed changes.
-Castoreum should be harvested and sold. This allows more income for the trappers and fur dealers while making use of a byproduct that would be wasted otherwise.
-Reducing the paperwork by eliminating annual reporting would eliminate time and costs associated with the current requirements. keeping documents available for 5 yrs is no different than keeping receipts on hand for tax purposes.
-allowing trappers to safely dispatch animals after dark should be allowed. The safest most humanly method is the use of firearms.
-allowing trappers to trap beavers out of season on crown land should be allowed. these beavers would eventually be trapped in season yet the potential damages caused in the meanwhile is costly and unnecessary.
These are my personal comments on the proposed changes.
