It seems to me that these changes will be bringing in open season on the beavers year round. With no check ups or permission needed to remove beaver lodges and kill beavers out of season in case of damage possibly being caused by them, it will encourage unscrupulous trappers to take more beavers and use that as justification. It sounds like there will be very little check ups on this and it is very troubling. Hopefully, these so called improvements will not come in.
