Proposal: private sewers servicing up to five residential properties that discharge to a municipal sewer service connection.

The private sewers on residential and commercial developments within separated/combined sewer catchments that discharge into the existing sewers should be included in ON Regulation 525/98 for an exemption.

Proposal: expanding an existing exemption related to a storm water management works that is designed to service one lot or parcel of non-industrial land to include discharge to a conveyance ditch [expanding section 3(b), which currently exempts discharge to a storm sewer].

The SWM and sewers on industrial lands for the development of storge facilities/ warehouse / light industrial/office building etc. that discharge into the existing sewers/a conveyance ditch should be included in ON Regulation 525/98 for an exemption.
