Regarding: early exploration mining trails

I do not support the regulatory amendment regarding the conditional exemption for early exploration mining to include early exploration mining trails as an eligible activity. I do not agree that the potential impacts to wildlife as well as endangered species is worth the reduced burden for proponents.

Unfortunately, sometimes protecting our environment is inconvenient for some, but it is the responsibility of everyone. The Endangered Species Act should not allow amendments that further erode the protections of the endangered species it was created to protect.
