I am immensely disappointed in the proposed changes that would remove protections for at-risk and endangered species in this legislation, specifically those located along the proposed route of Highway 413. The wavering commitment of this government to the environmental protections in favour of development and construction projects is at best ignorant and at worst negligent in its responsibilities as stewards of the land they are meant to protect.
