It seems apparent that the Ford government is intent on removing protections for species at risk in order to advance its own aims and infrastructure projects. I strongly disagree with this approach. Biodiversity is crashing all around us and without a thriving and healthy ecosystem humans can't thrive either. An example is the redside dace, which has been the subject of many programs to try to reintroduce it and strengthen its numbers. This government is looking to undo all that work likely for the advancement of the deeply unpopular highway 413. No. I disagree with these proposals.
