9352-5608 Quebec Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Geographic Township Poitras Twp., near the unincorporated town of Thorne, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) 20-PET-81701 for 1106488 operating as Buckhorn Sand and Gravel was issued on June 1, 2020 for a hauled sewage site in Kawartha Lakes Township, Ontario.

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3183-AZWHET for Fowler Construction Company Limited. Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3100117209 was issued on January 14, 2021 for aggregate washing and dewatering purposes at the Rosewarne Quarry, located in the Town of Bracebridge. The permit expires on January 13, 2031.

The renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 2678-8UBRUF servicing Vale Canada Limited/Vale Canada Limitée, for municipal and industrial water supply purposes in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, was approved on February 14, 2020 under permit No. P-300-1063637912. This permit expires on February 15, 2030.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for stormwater management works for Halmont Properties Corporation serving the Waterfront at Grandview, located at Grandview Drive, Town of Huntsville, Ontario.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 1340-BYTL79 has been issued to Evergreen Golf Course Limited on March 22, 2021 for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes in Westport, Rideau Lakes, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of March 22, 2031.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval No. 4673-BYDLK5 to Summerhill Resorts Ltd. for the collection, transmission, treatment, and disposal of sewage from an existing seasonal trailer park, located at 657 Thunder Bridge Road in the City of Kawartha Lakes,
ON.

The amending regulation to the Building Code, O. Reg. 762/20, was filed on December 16, 2020. It is available on e-Laws, Ontario’s online database of statutes and regulations.

This renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 1710-B97MKY, servicing BHM Great Lakes Venture Inc. for industrial purposes, was approved on January 22, 2021 under permit No. 6145-BTGQHE. The permit expires on September 16, 2022.

This new Permit to Take Water servicing IAMGOLD Corporation, to take water for camp water supply purposes, was approved on October 9, 2020 under Permit No. 5831-BTSRFF. The permit expires on October 9, 2030.

This new Permit to Take Water servicing De Beers Canada Inc. for open pit infilling purposes was approved on February 27, 2020 under Permit No. 2874-BLNQ98. The permit expires on February 27, 2030.

This renewal (Category 3) Permit to Take Water No. 8583-8WPL3N is for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one pit related to pits and quarries activities, located in an Unorganized Area in the District of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The permit was issued on March 19, 2021 under Permit No. 7656-B3MQS3.

Permit to Take Water No. 7335-BLKRQG for Impala Canada Ltd. for industrial process and potable water supply in the District of Thunder Bay, Ontario was approved on March 19, 2021 under permit No. 2128-BRRTAH.

On October 24, 2005, Ontario filed the regulation (O. Reg. 541/05: Net Metering), which came into force on January 23, 2006. No comments were received on the posting of the proposed regulation.

The Green Energy Repeal Act repealed the Green Energy Act and amended other Acts to re-introduce conservation and energy efficiency initiatives, restore municipal authority over siting renewable energy projects, and create the authority to prohibit issuance of Renewable Energy Approvals, including where demand for electricity is not demonstrated.
