The Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI) will be proposing a new Statement of Environmental Values (SEV) in order to reflect the changes in its structure and mandate, as well as to acknowledge the priority of addressing climate change. Given the changes, this proposal is no longer being considered.

We issued the order to the Town of Atikokan upon consent on February 27, 2018. The order requires the town to complete upgrades to the municipal wastewater system within set timelines. The upgrades will prevent, decrease or eliminate adverse effects, including the backup of sewage into basements, and the discharge of sewage into the environment.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Shell Canada Limited for the stormwater management facility to service a gas station development site in the Municipality of Clarington.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval with limited operational flexibility has been issued to Bell City Foundry (Brantford) Limited for their facility located at 411 West Street in Brantford City.
