Original proposal
Proposal details
The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for stormwater management works serving Hydro One Networks Inc., located at 470 Glendale Avenue, in the City of St. Catharines.
The stormwater management works comprise of Stormwater Quality Control, Quantity Control, and Erosion Control works, and include removal of three of the four existing transformers, installation of one new transformer and associated spill containment in a new location within the station and a new oil water separator (OWS). The existing transformer spill containment pit will be upgraded and connected to the OWS.
All site storm drainage collected will be discharged to a municipal storm sewer, which discharges to the Welland Canal-Niagara River, and eventually Lake Ontario.
