As a long standing P.Geo. member in Ontario (2011) and a geoscientist since 2002 I am in full support of these changes as a method to show support for mineral development sector. This a massive step forward for the mining sector while still providing safe guards. Read more

I am oppose to the Ontario government's proposal to exempt early mineral exploration from the Permit to Take Water (PTTW) system. It is on of the few remaining tools left to assess whether large water withdrawals are appropriate. Read more
