Proposal details

The purpose of application is for the creation of a new lot. The proposed severed lot will have approximately 178 metres of frontage, 90 metres of depth, and 1.60 hectares in size. The retained lot will have approximately 128 metres of frontage, 234 metres of depth, and 3.00 hectares in size. There are existing cottages on both the proposed severed and retained lots. Both cottages use existing outhouses and grey water pits and use water from Fox Lake. No new development is proposed. 

The subject lands are water access only on Fox Lake. The subject lands are located approximately 22 kilometres northwest of the City of Kenora municipal boundary. Boat storage and parking is provided by a Land use Permit issued by MNR to the Fox Lake Camper’s Association.
