My question is how will this impact the environment and its ecosystem? If it adversely impacts the environment or ecosystem for our indigenous communities I’m dead set against it or any thing that negatively impacts my First Nations community and its wellbeing.

As an Elder of Wabaseemoong Independent First Nation, I am not comfortable to this area being bothered. We are still dealing with the effects to our health from mercury poisioning and although exploration may not affect the water per se at this time, future mining may. Read more
