We have made a new regulation and taken related actions to replace the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) with a streamlined process under the Environmental Assessment Act. The new process takes effect Jan 1, 2027 and focuses requirements on more complex projects and includes an archaeological assessment process for other projects.
