An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been granted to GFL Environmental Inc., located in Toronto, Ontario. The facility undertakes soil remediation.

Permit to Take Water was issued to Greenwood Construction Company Limited on July 3, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1190188874. Water will be taken from two ponds for aggregate washing purposes, located in the Township of East Garafraxa, Ontario for 9 years.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Erie Sand & Gravel Limited in the Municipality of Leamington to increase the area of below water extraction and also import up to 10,000,000 cubic metres of excess soil to this site for final rehabilitation.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 4, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-235140 for a lot addition on lands described as PIN 42180-2612, Lot 253, Plan M-222, in unsurveyed territory, community of Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is July 24, 2024.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 4, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-232107 for a lot addition on lands described as Lots 7, 8,9 on Plan 23M969, in unsurveyed territory, Pulfords Island, Lake of the Woods, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is July 24, 2024. 

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility was issued to Linamar Corporation, an automotive components manufacturing facility located in the City of Guelph, Ontario.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow AAROC Aggregates Ltd. To increase the extraction depth above the water table in the Township of Zorra.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow 485,616 cubic metres of excess soil to be imported to return the site to the original grade in the City of Ottawa
