A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5220965556 was issued to Devtrin (Island Park) GP Inc. on September 28, 2023 for 5 years. Water will be taken from two ponds for construction dewatering purposes to allow for the construction of a proposed multi-storey building at 70 Richmond Road in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8232616768 was issued to Residences at Harbourwalk Inc on September 28, 2023, for 7 years. Water will be taken from one dewatering array, located in the City of Mississauga, Ontario, for construction-dewatering purposes.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval with Operational Flexibility (air & noise) to Sandeep Sajjan Enterprises Ltd., located in 1400 The Queensway, Toronto, Ontario.

The ECA application was cancelled and no approval was issued.

The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007, allowing the City of London to translocate Kentucky Coffee-trees to allow for the rebuild of the Springbank Reservoir.

The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.

We have issued Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6221409356 on September 25, 2023 for CLARIDGE HOMES (GEORGE ST) LIMITED PARTNERSHIP in the City of Ottawa, Ontario for construction dewatering purposes. The new permit expires on September 25, 2028.

We have issued Permit to Take Water No. 2882-CVSJ5E on September 25, 2023 for Ottawa Community Housing Corporation in the City of Ottawa, Ontario for construction dewatering purposes. The new permit expires on February 25, 2025.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) issued to Bolahood Contracting Inc., for the establishment of stormwater management works as part of a proposed industrial development on the lands located at 13 Walsh Road, in Lindsay, Ontario.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued on September 25, 2023 to 25 Langstaff Rd. East Developments Inc. for the intended residential, parkland and community use of the property located at 5, 9, 11 and 25 Langstaff Road East and 10, 20, 24, and 26 Ruggles Avenue, Markham, Ontario.

A provisional consent was granted subject to conditions on September 26, 2023.  The last date to appeal the decision is October 16, 2023.

We have issued a Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1189960355 on January 13, 2023, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 6364-BHHK8H, for CRH Canada Group Inc. for aggregate washing purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the Dufferin Aggregates Henning Pit in the Township of North Dumfries, Ontario. The new permit expires December 31, 2023

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (air) to Stelco Inc., a manufacturer of integrated steel at a facility located at 2330 Haldimand Road 3, Haldimand, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been issued to Try Recycling Inc. for the operation of a mobile wood grinder, operating at various locations across Ontario. This approval is an amendment to the existing ECA No. 2479-8AMTZJ to address modeling for reduced set back distances for the facility.
