The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage works) to Tordar Investments Ltd. for stormwater management works servicing the proposed Maritime-Ontario Kanata development, located at 8800 Campeau Drive in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 1205-CQZRM7 was issued to Minto (Jock River) Inc. on April 21, 2023 for five years. Water will be taken from three groundwater/surface water sources for construction dewatering purposes to provide water for residential development activities, located in Ottawa, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air) has been granted to Shell Canada Products, a petroleum refinery located in the Township of St. Clair, County of Lambton. The approval is for the addition of one horizontal tank for biodiesel storage and for the modification to include biodiesel blending and products loading operations.

The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued an overall benefit permit to CRH Canada Group Inc. for aggregate extraction that may impact two species at risk salamanders. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects and benefit the species, and monitoring and reporting requirements.
