Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on November 28, 2022 in respect of Application 58-C-224982 for a new lot for residential and agricultural use on lands described as PIN 62345-0017, Unincorporated Township of Upsala, District of Thunder Bay. The last day this decision can be appealed is December 18, 2022.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) was issued for a hauled sewage site as described below.

We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) to Supreme Galvanizing Ltd., a hot dip galvanizing facility, located in the City of Brampton, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1188804864 on November 25, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 3442-BEUKU5 for CRH Canada Group Inc. Water takings will be used for aggregate washing operations at the Cedar Creek Pit in Cambridge, Ontario. The new permit expires on November 22, 2032.

In accordance with the Pesticides Act, Beauveria bassiana strain CFL-A has been added to the list of Active Ingredients Authorized for Cosmetic Uses (Allowable List).

In accordance with the Pesticides Act, Sheep fat has been added to the list of Active Ingredients Authorized for Cosmetic Uses (Allowable List).

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) was granted to North Toronto Christian School for the establishment of new and replacement subsurface sewage disposal works to service the existing site plus an expansion of a staff cabin, located at Camp Ke-Mon-Oya, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4080-CLFLBB on November 24, 2022 to Gerald Best. Water will be taken for a dam/reservoir from La Rue Mills Creek in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, Ontario. This permit expires on November 24, 2032. 

We have issued an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2293-5JRQBF for the inclusion of seven existing subsurface disposal sewage works, and proposed replacement and expanded subsurface disposal sewage works, to service a seasonal campground located at 2310 Concession Road 12, Township of Huron-Kinloss, County of Bruce.

Ontario is reducing unnecessary administrative burden on the petroleum industry by simplifying reporting requirements under the Gasoline Volatility regulation. These changes include aligning reporting requirements with national timelines for switching from winter-grade gasoline to summer-grade gasoline.

We have made changes to the lake trout regulations in Fisheries Management Zone 6 to extend the winter angling season and remove certain exceptions in order to provide increased angling opportunities.

The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5462-CL7REX on November 18, 2022, to St. Mary’s Cement Inc. (Canada) for aggregate washing and concrete production purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the CBM Aggregates Brantford Pit in the County of Brant, Ontario. The new permit expires on November 19, 2032.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to 1655710 Ontario Ltd. for stormwater management works servicing two pre-engineered buildings (Repair Garage and Service Parts Warehouse) located at 2550 Industrial Park Drive in Cornwall, Ontario.

We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval to Ingot Metal Company Limited, operating a secondary copper facility that produces copper, brass and bronze alloys located in Toronto, Ontario.

The variance is approved.

This decision is for an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air) for all emissions from 2487557 Ontario Inc., a ready-mix concrete batching facility located in the City of Brampton, Ontario.

The ministry has amended existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 1069-95AQPW (industrial sewage) issued to the Canadian National Railway Company, for the establishment of additional stormwater management works, in support of proposed CN Stuart Rail Yard drainage improvements - Phase 1; located at 220 Harbour Front Drive in Hamilton.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to GiGA Sudbury Corp. for industrial stormwater management works to serve 62 Westhill Court, located in the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

We issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) to Cyclone Manufacturing Incorporated, an aerospace parts manufacturing facility located in the City of Mississauga, Ontario.
