The government has revoked the five Minister’s Zoning Orders associated with the Parkway Belt West Plan, 1978, effective July 1, 2026, and included deeming provisions. We have made changes to strengthen the responsible use of campfires and drinking water infrastructure in Ontario Parks and clarify rules regarding commercial day-use vehicle permits and electronic permits. These changes promote visitor safety and support a more efficient and streamlined experience for park visitors.
