I adamantly oppose your proposed changes.
You are completely going in the wrong direction.
If you are just looking at resource the vast majority of people agree that nature is something to value and enjoy, animals are more important alive then dead.
Fur is dead, no one wants that anymore and why are you supporting an industry that serves a handful and requires tax payer subsidies to survive?
No one aware of what it is wants castor oil. There are better substitutes.
