I am frankly fed up with the continued roll-back of environmental and wildlife protection from this government. I am not okay with making it easier to trap, shoot (using a pistol after dark? Really?) or market wildlife. If anything I’d like to see stronger restrictions on trapping and “harvesting”. I realize the current government prioritizes “economic opportunities” above virtually anything else but there are other considerations here. It’s bad enough the forests are being sprayed with Glyphosates, the wildlife has enough of a challenge surviving in the current climate, the last thing we need is to reduce regulations for trappers and fur dealers, the existing regulations were put in place for a reason.
