Thank you for providing the opportunity to review the proposed ARA policy and guidance modernization proposal. Attached is a formal review of the proposal as well as recommendations that include:
- expanding scope and establishing hierarchy of matters to be considered
- explicit guidance for cumulative assessment
- opportunities to advance inter-agency communication and decision-making.
- opportunities for better alignment of provincial and municipal policy related to aggregates.
