The proposed amendments seem to favour the commercial fur industry and trappers over the welfare of wildlife.
The proposed amendments are outdated and are an attack on our wildlife.
There is a lack of transperancy in the process as the province provides no evidence for the claims that the environmental consequences will be minimal.
The increased suffering of wild animals with specific concerns of shooting animals in this case beaver in the dark.
The concern about people shooting guns in the dark.
Who will identify problem animals? How will they know it is a problem animal? What if the animal has relocated will non problematic animals be shot in the dark?

I say NO to the proposals to reduce regulatory and administrative burden, and enable increased economic opportunities for licensed trappers and fur dealers.
