Please amend or scrap this bill, overriding environmental reviews, as well as ignoring feedback from indigenous communities, is a dangerous and reckless way to speed up our provincial building spree, it is also clearly seen from the ways we keep suburban sprawling into farmlands, while ignoring actual middle density needs.

Consider the following when doing such Special Economic Zones in comparison to other countries:
- Declaring SEZs anywhere is not necessary and still needs reviewing regardless of what the province thinks about this, its for the safety and necessity of the people, not just simply because it prevents corporations and the government from doing harm to the land built on. SEZs must be carefully chosen and considered, this is a thing that other countries do too.

- Handpicking "trusted proponents" as the Minister without independent checks will not in the public's interest, just like Ford taking over the education public boards.

- SEZs should also consider other risks beyond just health and environmental risks, this is standard protocol in many parts of the world, and oversight from independent agencies/organizations is needed, this is possible while also reducing the time needed to build these projects and reducing over-consultation and mismanagement.

- Again, cannot stress this enough, but feedback and consultation from the public and indigenous communities is very important, middle grounds can be made without compromising on the integrity of those projects.
