It does NOT make sense for Special Economic Zones to be declared with proper public consultation, open competition. Proper environmental and health impact is a must. Honoring Indigenous rights, treaties, and consultation is a must as well.
We are already suffering from water, air and environmental pollution, not following regulations makes no sense!
