We should strongly reject the government authoritarianism and secrecy that allows the arbitrary institution of special economic zones.

The Ford government was elected by a minority of Ontarians and does not represent our democratic interests.

The Ford government does represent the interests of private capital and corporate privilege. These interests are not in the public's best interests. Uniting unaccountably the government and the private sector is our modern version of fascism now gaining ascendancy as demonstrated by the U.S. debacle.

Provide Ontarians with a fully democratic politics so we can decide how our economic policies should unfold.
