I am strongly opposed to the development of the new highway. It will destroy too many vital habitats, wetlands, waterways and could lead to the complete loss of many critically and imminently endangered species. Ecosystems are just that: systems. None of their parts can be removed without upsetting the whole.
There is enough land to builds home already approved for such uses. Please stop developing on farmland and Greenway. Please protect our waters and watershed.
Please engage in a thorough and scientific environmental assessment. If you rubber stamp this project, I will do all in my power to make sure no one stamps PC on the next provincial ballot. We need leadership, not corruption.
