As an Engineer who works in municipal infrastructure, I am left wondering what recourse concerned citizens have if they approach the proponent and their concerns are not addressed? Removing the Part II order process seems to effectively strip any power from the people and allows the development industry to do whatever it wants without any real regard for public input. Not all developers will do this, but some certainly will. This seems to be reducing public consultation to lip service and another hand-out by the corrupt Doug Ford administration to back-room cronies.
