I am opposed to any streamlining of the Environmental Assessment. The need for housing may be great, but the environment is forever and needs careful assessment. In addition, the lands involved are not all appropriate for housing and involve many landscape features that maintain our natural enviroment in an appropriate and sustainable state (rivers, wetlands and agricultural land).

Please keep the safeguards that we have now for future generations rather than pave them over for human living spaces.

There are plenty of spaces in our built enviroment that can be re-used or more intensively used.
