I am concerned about the proposed streamlining of municipal environmental assessment requirements for some municipal construction projects such as new pumping stations, expanded sewage treatment plants, etc.
It is my strongly held view that a less comprehensive assessment could result in oversights that pose risks to the environment. And that could lead to further problems and thus expense.
