The thing that makes us…

The thing that makes us great is our land.
It is far more valuable when it is intact and diversity is maintained.

This legislation will allow developers to ignore our role as stewards.
Indigenous peoples have been effective stewards for millennia, this legislation opens allows them to be cut out of the decision making.
Short term profit (for the elite) cannot outweigh the pricelessness of intact forests and waters and wikdlife.
We need longer term thinking…once these species, these cultures are gone, they are gone for good.
