Considering that the province is reducing our flood management conservation authorities from 36 to 7 there should be a safe guard system kept in place unless you are trying to turn us into a third world country. Flood management starts with managing wetlands, forests and farm land. The people who live in these areas in Ontario know the land and should be involved with decisions otherwise only the voices of thoses who stand to profit financially will be heard.
