I cannot believe, in this day and age when so many species have already bit the dust that the powers-that-be would consider dragging their feet for another long study rather than ACTING NOW to protect the American Eel !! Seriously?!? Do it now! No more study. No more thinking about it. Just do it! So that the children of the future won't read American Eel in a book as being extinct. So sad so many names are in that book already.
