Under section 3.1.2 Pattern; the Standards and Guidelines (15) indicates that forest management planning teams identify and delineate areas with high degree of private land ownership fragmenting the forest .... and exempt these areas.... (guideline).

Is there an area size that could be used as part of the guidance to determine if the areas are large enough to effectively measure and qualify the pattern indicators? This would help planning teams better understand if areas are larger enough to be included in the assessments or not.
