We need something done in regards to scrap tires, and we need it sooner than later. As a small automotive business, I have reached capacity and then some for scrap tire storage. I literally have no room left, and have to turn away scrap tires. If this keeps up for much longer we are going to be in a dangerous situation, plus we are going to see the return of scrap tires dumped in ditches which no one wants. Please make this a priority, so these tires can be cleaned up as soon as possible.
Reading through the proposal does not make anything any clearer. A lot of "legal" language that means nothing to me. I believe if you ask the PROS as you state it, many of them have no clue they are even responsible for removing scrap tires, so maybe step 1 would be making sure those that are required know what they're responsible for! We are all paying $5 now per tire, even an increase over last year, and getting worse service, where is the money going???
