We approved an amendment to the Environmental Compliance Approval (a waste disposal site) No. A220249 issued to Safety-Kleen Canada Inc., for the addition of new waste types, waste processing activities and waste storage areas to the facility located at 25 Regan Road in Brampton, Ontario.

A decision was made on April 26, 2024 to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment № 2, as adopted by By-law 2022-26. We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval for a waste processing site approved to receive, transfer and process waste alkaline batteries in Thorold, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air and noise) was issued to Arbor Memorial Inc., operating a human crematorium, located at the Glenhaven Memorial Gardens facility in the Municipality of Glenburnie, Ontario.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-23-000346 to Ring of Fire Metals Pty Ltd. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.
