This should not be allowed because it will put the cold water ecosystem at risk. The Shebandowan Lake Management Plan restricts this type of development, if the MNR allows this exception where do they draw the line? They might as well allow the lake to be lined with camps and the water toxic like so many of the other lakes in the area.
We are strongly against allowing this and request the MNR to protect the lake and water quality.
