This proposal seems very dangerous to archaeology, First Nations history and rights, and of course the environment. If there are going to be replacements, the public needs to see them and understand exactly what kind of transition there will be. Doug Ford's government has already shown favoritism to private developers many times, including but not limited to the Greenbelt and Ontario Place, and as a voter I need assurance that this change isn't some scheme to create a gap for private developer friends to exploit.
