I think these proposed changes are being proposed without proper research and will result in significant damage to environmental and heritage concerns. Feedback from important groups, including Indigenous communities has been ignored. This new model does not provide sufficient protection for archaeological heritage and Ancestor burials, and is likely to result in reduced consultation with Indigenous communities on development projects. I am very much against these proposed changes.
